RETURNS & REFUNDS

How It Works

Our Refund and Return Policy 

Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to Top Shelf Designs. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product and get a full refund or exchange the product. Any product you return must be in the same condition you received it and in its original packaging. ​

TSD will accept, for return or exchange, items that are in new condition, unused, unaltered, and free of damages. All refunds and exchanges are subject to our review of the returned product. For a full refund or exchange, you must contact info@topshelfdesigns.co and return the item(s) within 21 days after receipt of your original order. Items must be returned with all TSD tags/labels attached and must be in the original packaging.

SHIPPING

What You Need to Know

Shipping

We are eager for you to receive your Dorm Buddy™ / Dorm Buddy Plus™ and add some much-needed space to your dorm. You should expect to receive your Dorm Buddy™ / Dorm Buddy Plus™ within 15 business days from the date of your order, sooner if possible. We make every effort to fulfill orders as quickly as possible. Please note that every Dorm Buddy™ / Dorm Buddy Plus™ is handcrafted and made to order.

At the present time, all orders will be shipped directly to the customer. Upon checkout, the customer will be asked to provide their shipping address. When your order is ready to be shipped, it will be shipped directly to the shipping address you provide at checkout. If for some reason you need to change your shipping address after placing your order, please contact us immediately via email at info@topshelfdesigns.co or phone at +1(908)-264-7333 with your name, order number, and updated shipping address. Please note, however, that we cannot redirect your package to a new address once it has been shipped.

The affordability of our products is of the utmost importance to us at Top Shelf Designs. It is for this reason that we have worked diligently to secure the best shipping rates for our customers from top carriers.  Specifically, we work directly with UPS to provide each customer with ground shipping, which, upon extensive research, is currently the most affordable shipping option. With this shipping option, it is estimated that customers will receive their product within 1-3 business days once shipped. 

To ensure that the customer secures the cheapest shipping rate, all shipping rates are calculated live at checkout. Therefore, shipping rates are dependent upon the package weight/size and the order’s delivery destination. The weight of the package ranges from 13-18 pounds and its size ranges as well. Please note that the further the delivery destination is from our New Jersey headquarters, the more expensive the shipping rate will be. Additionally, please note that if for whatever reason, live shipping rates cannot be calculated at checkout, a flat rate of $18 will be applied to a customer’s order. If there is a discrepancy between the flat rate and the actual shipping rate, then the customer will be notified immediately.

All customers will receive an email indicating that their order has shipped. Within that email, the customer will find a tracking number for their package. Given that all packages are shipped UPS ground, UPS estimates that the customer should receive their order within 1-3 days after receiving the email notification that their package shipped. Please note that potential delays are possible due to carrier delays that are outside TSD’s control. You will receive a shipping update if your order is delayed. The customer will also be notified via email when their order has arrived at its delivery destination. Please note that Top Shelf Designs is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages.

Lastly, please note that all TSD products are shipped domestically only. At this time, we also do not offer delivery or customer pickup.
