DO TSD SHELVES ACTUALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
Yes! As recent college grads, we understand the struggle of fitting all your belongings in your dorm. Moving into campus every year, we often felt overwhelmed, cramped, and unsure how to fit our belongings in our respective rooms; it seemed impossible to stay organized. To solve our own dilemma of not having enough space, we built the Dorm Buddy™ & Dorm Buddy Plus™. We have each personally used our shelves and can attest to their overall benefit, sturdiness, and durability.

NOT ALL COLLEGE-ISSUED DESK HUTCHES ARE THE SAME SIZE. WILL MY DORM BUDDY™ / DORM BUDDY PLUS™ STILL FIT ON THE HUTCH?
The desk hutches frequently vary in size across college campuses. TSD’s Dorm Buddy™ / Dorm Buddy Plus™ work best on desk hutches that fall within the following length range: 40” – 41 13/16”. If your school-issued desk hutch falls outside this length range, special requests are possible. Please contact info@topshelfdesigns.co for more information.
To ensure a secure fit on desk hutches within the 40" - 41 13/16" range, each Dorm Buddy™ and Dorm Buddy Plus™ are equipped with two Buddy Brackets™ pre-affixed to your shelving unit. The Buddy Bracket™ ensures that your shelf fits securely on your hutch. For more information about TSD's Buddy Bracket™, click here.
Please be advised that for most hutches, customers should anticipate that there will likely be a small amount of wiggle room (~ 1/4") between the school-issued desk hutch and your Dorm Buddy™ / Dorm Buddy Plus™. For desk hutches larger in size, the Buddy Bracket™ can easily be removed with a screwdriver.
HOW DOES THE BUDDY BRACKET™ WORK?
The size of the school-issued hutches vary, so the Buddy Bracket™ allows you to adjust the length of the Dorm Buddy™ and Dorm Buddy Plus™; TSD's Buddy Bracket™ is designed to ensure a snug fit on top of the school-issued desk hutch. To use your Dorm Buddy™ or Dorm Buddy Plus™, simply place it on top of the hutch. If your Dorm Buddy™ or Dorm Buddy Plus™ fits, that means TSD's Buddy Bracket™ is hard at work ensuring a snug fit.
If your Dorm Buddy™ or Dorm Buddy Plus™ does not fit on the school-issued desk hutch (your Dorm Buddy™ / Dorm Buddy Plus™ appears too small), don't worry! You just need to remove one or both of the Buddy Brackets™. To do so, flip your Dorm Buddy™ / Dorm Buddy Plus™ over onto a flat surface and, using a Philips-head screwdriver, simply unscrew the Buddy Bracket™ on either side. If the shelf is still too small, then unscrew the Buddy Bracket™ on the other side. After removing one/both Buddy Brackets™, place your Dorm Buddy™ / Dorm Buddy Plus™ on the school-issued desk hutch for a snug fit. Be sure to store your Buddy Brackets™ and screws in a safe place for future use!

HOW SECURE ARE TSD'S DORM BUDDY™ / DORM BUDDY PLUS™?
TSD's Dorm Buddy™ and Dorm Buddy Plus™ are extremely secure. Every Dorm Buddy™ and Dorm Buddy Plus™ is equipped with a safety fastener. TSD's safety fastener consists of two knobs and one elastic. Both knobs are pre-attached to each Dorm Buddy™ / Dorm Buddy Plus™ and are produced by Sailrite. The elastic is pre-attached to the knob on the left underside of the Dorm Buddy™ / Dorm Buddy Plus™. To secure your Dorm Buddy™ / Dorm Buddy Plus™ on the desk hutch, simply connect the knobs by looping the elastic around the left outer knob.

WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. For your convenience, we can also accept payments via PayPal. If you would like to pay via PayPal, you must place your order over the phone. To do so, please call +1 (908) 264-7333. We look forward to helping you place your order!
WHAT IF I WANT TO PURCHASE MORE THAN ONE ITEM?
If you would like to purchase more than one item, please call us directly at +1 (908) 264-7333 to place your order. Given the size of the Dorm Buddy™ / Dorm Buddy Plus™, each shipping fee must be calculated separately. Therefore, each shelf must be ordered separately.
When you call TSD headquarters to place your order, we will request your contact information and product order. After speaking with a TSD representative, you will receive an invoice via email. Once the invoice is paid, your order will be processed.

DOES TSD DELIVER?
To meet customer demand in a timely manner, all products will be shipped directly to the customer unless you are a Villanova University student living on campus in fall 2024. If you are, then please visit our Villanova page for more information regarding delivery. Please refer to our Shipping Policies and/or the Shipping FAQ below to learn more.
DOES TSD SHIP PURCHASED GOODS?
Yes! All orders will be shipped directly to the customer. Top Shelf Designs has worked diligently to secure the best shipping rates from top carriers. Specifically, we work directly with UPS to provide each customer with an estimated 1-3 day ground shipping. Please note that TSD is not responsible for any shipping delays.
Shipping rates are calculated live at checkout. Therefore, they are dependent upon the package weight and the distance said package is traveling from our headquarters in northern New Jersey. Please refer to our Shipping Policies to learn more.

WHAT IS TSD'S RETURN POLICY?
Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to Top Shelf Designs. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product and get a full refund or exchange the product. Any product you return must be in the same condition you received it and in its original packaging.
TSD will accept, for return or exchange, items that are in new condition, unused, unaltered, and free of damages. All refunds and exchanges are subject to our review of the returned product. For a full refund or exchange, you must contact info@topshelfdesigns.co and return the item(s) within 21 days after receipt of your original order. Items must be returned with all TSD tags/labels attached and must be in the original packaging.
